David Cameron has invited Alex Salmond to talks in London about his ambition of leading an independent Scotland.

The Prime Minister has said that "he anticipates a positive outcome for Scotland."

Dave should be proposing an Independence for England referendum, then the Celtic fringes can do whatever they want, together or separately.

Another Direction: perhaps the people of Scotland should ask why a higher percentage of people in England favour independence for Scotland than favour independence north of the border.

I think Alex Salmond is about to be exposed for what he is.

Happy new year Lakelander.

I am somewhat unconvinced by independence but Salmond is an accomplished politico.

His mojo may be about to desert him but we'll have to wait and see on that.
