The first in an occasional series - "Things can only get better"

The Post Office Lakelander is delighted to announce the release of a series of stamps that will reflect the advancement of society since the Labour party took power in 1997.

The first of these stamps commemorates the relaxation of drinking laws in 2005 as two British mingers beauties enjoy some well-deserved libation at the end of a busy week claiming Job Seekers Allowance. Note the tab of E on the tongue of the brunette on the left.

This is just one of the many Labour policies that has been such a success.

More will follow...

I have to confess that I've never tried this new drink, 'Binge'!

Where does it come from, who makes it and is it a new sort of pick-me-up rather like Wincarnis?

The little girls seem quite happy 'swigging' this highly coloured drink, so I suppose it has lots of sugar in it, and also a fruity flavour like cherry, or perhaps damson...

Awww, kids today..Awww, kids today..

I think I saw them in the audience last Friday night.

I binge drink.

But I look sober - even after 6 pints.

Beautifully done, as always. A book in the making, surely?

Scrobs: I grew up drinking 3% proof bitter. Youngsters today grow up on variations of vodka shots and Bacardi breezers. It's little wonder so many of them are smashed out of their heads on a Saturday night.

Circus Monkey: Very funny! (and welcome to the blog!)

E-K: I can't remember the last time I was able to drink 6 pints. Middle age y'see...

Apricotfox: You're too kind. I could never publish a book of my Photoshopped pictures - the copyright lawyers would have a field day.

I'm happy sharing them with my friends here!

Of course, you are right! Lawyer fodder is not an attractive prospect. Shame, but there you go! We love 'em, anyway...just have to make sure as many friends see them as poss!
